Damstahl Tooling is a specialist supplier of tools and quality solutions for metal cutting. They wanted to optimise their warehouse and at the same time save space.
This has been accomplished by the installation of three logimat lifts, each eight metres in height.
Products originally stored on pallet racks and shelving, took operators a considerable amount of time to access (via Forklift trucks) and browse, before picking. The Logimats now bring the selected products to the operators, quickly and at an ergonomic working height.
As a result of the installation, the avalable warehouse floor space for other activities, has been substantially increased.
Installation and on-site training for both operatives and remedial maintenance staff of the three units were completed quickly and efficiently within the customers time constraints.
